ART 9/8 – 9/9: Shape

DESCRIPTION

We will discuss the following:

  1. Art Kits will be available Thursday 9/10 of this week and T/Th next week at the library.

  2. Shape Slideshow and Notes

TAKE NOTES during class discussions. You will submit notes for credit each week. If you are absent, you must watch the Zoom video to get the notes.

If you were absent to any of the meetings this week, go to Google Classroom, where the recorded meetings have been posted under Classwork>Recorded Zoom Meetings.

CLASS ACTIVITIES

  1. Fill out this survey during attendance. Use your valverde username (without the @valverde.edu) as your access code.

  2. Art Kits will be available this Thursday 9/10 from 2:00 – 3:30 at the CHHS library.  They will also be available on Tuesday and Thursday next week from 2:00 – 3:30 at the CHHS library.

  3. Share Google Arts and Culture Assignment.– Share your favorite artwork and discuss how it uses LINE

  4. Shape Slideshow and Notes

  5. Shape Activity during class:

  6. Find an an organic shape in your home

  7. Find a geometric shape in your home

  8. Find a pattern made by shape

  9. Create a drawing dominated by organic shape

  10. Create a drawing dominated by geometric shape

HOMEWORK

  1. Google Arts and Culture Assignment 2. Is due 9/14–

  2. Create a gallery that contains 5 examples of TEXTURE and 5 examples of SHAPE.

  3. Take a Screenshot, put in a Google document in the Turn In folder for your class.

  4. Copy your gallery link and place on top of the document.

  5. Put your name, date, and period o nthe top left.

  6. Name the file pd_last_first_textureline.

  7. Your Digital Portfolio is past due. Turn in our address on this spreadsheet. Find your period on the bottom of the spreadsheet, then find your name.
